I love the way the story is so multi-layered. You could go back and see this play again, once you know where the twists and turns are, and get even more out of it than you did the first time.
Johnna’s Bio:
Johnna is delighted to be directing for Live Five twice this season, having started in September with Reasons to be Pretty (Fire in the Hole/Live Five). Recent credits include The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan; SATAward, Achievement in Direction). Johnna is a two-time recipient of Vancouver’s Jessie Richardson Awards for Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Production (The Merry Wives of Windsor, Bard on the Beach 2013, and The Triumph of Love, Blackbird Theatre 2008). She is proud to have co-founded several Canadian theatre companies, including Vancouver’s Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. Next, she will direct for Drayton Entertainment in Ontario.
